As someone who lived with severe chronic nerve pain that came and went for 5.5 years, I am familiar with the experience of "falling through the cracks" of the current medical system. I remember what that was like, and I felt so alone with it all.
Years later and no longer in pain, I am still passionate about supporting folks who are underserved by the current medical system. People with chronic pain, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, long covid, and more.
Over the past year, as I had more and more conversations about how I support folks who are underserved by the western medical system, I kept hearing from women who shared with me how there is not enough support for those going through the perimenopause and menopause transition.
These women felt frustrated, dismissed, and like their quality of life was diminished. Some of them felt overwhelmed with misinformation and didn't know what was accurate or how to tell.
So many women spend months, or years, trying to figure things out on their own. They search online. They bounce between providers. They question themselves. They feel isolated and unseen.
These women often don't need another appointment or another article. What they really need is support from people who truly understand. Women who "get it."
That's why I built this. Not as a program to complete or a course to get through, but as a community to belong to, for as long as you need it.
